This year’s theme is: “The Echoes of Wisdom of Our Elders”, a powerful reminder of the depth and richness of Hispanic heritage, honoring the lessons and traditions passed down through families, communities, and generations.
This is a FREE event for the community and the oldest Puerto Rican Day Parade in the State of Florida that typically attracts thousands of people.
We proudly dedicate this year’s parade to Orocovis, Puerto Rico, a vibrant municipality known as “The Heart of Puerto Rico” whose spirit and cultural richness embodies the very essence of our celebration.
The City of Palm Bay has named the main entrance to City Hall, ” Samuel C. Lopez Way” in memory of our founder, Samuel C. Lopez who established the first annual Puerto Rican Day Parade in Brevard County in November 1997, the first annual Brevard County Family Salsa Festival and the first Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in the Space Coast in May 2002, Florida’s Puerto Rican/Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Inc. which continues to operate in Melbourne, Florida, Brevard County. Sadly, Samuel C. Lopez passed away unexpectedly January 11,2021. UTB’s board continues to stay committed to carry on his legacy and vision for the Hispanic and minority community in Brevard County and since his passing we dedicate our Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade to him.
The Puerto Rican Day Parade begins promptly at 10amSATURDAY October 4, 2025
The Puerto Rican Day Parade Festival immediately follows. The Festival emcee Boriqua Posse, Anthony Quinones, along with live performances, entertainers, artists, vendors, food trucks offering mouthwatering ethnic foods and unique merchandise, an automobile and antique car show will leave you in awe, a health and wellness self-care area, local businesses and informational non-profit organizations along with political candidates representing local, state, and national levels, all coming together to showcase their efforts and engage with our community in a fun-filled family atmosphere creating an unforgettable experience.
This year’s, events will continue to help support our mission and endow LOCAL Hispanic students annually with scholarships for continued education and will continue to promote Hispanic culture throughout the year in our community.
We are currently seeking community partners, sponsors and volunteers for this Annual weekend of events and we appreciate all tax-deductible donations.
If you are interested in reserving a spot to set up a vendor booth or becoming a parade participant, and/or having a float in the parade please contact Edwin Santos, Margarita Chavez or Samantha Lopez-Bickman at (863) 381-4858 or email us at: utbinc77@gmail.com.
